Paul was feeling better this morning so morning, we packed up and loaded into our safari vehicles for a ride to our next camp. Three Rivers Camp is a sister to Kafunta. It is much smaller and more remote.
The drive took
us deeper into the bush. We also passed
a small village and a camp where they trained wildlife scouts who protect the
parks from poachers.
The camp has a waterhole that attracts a lot of animals into the camp…
and we saw a lot of elephants wandering through.
This big boy spent a fair amount of time butting his head against a large limb of the tree to shake out fruit and flowers to eat.
We didn’t do
any safaris as Paul is still not feeling very well. We were told that today's safaris yielded many animal
sightings.
Sunset was good along the water.
